FAKTOR - FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MISKONSEPSI SISWA PADA MATERI ASAM DAN BASA

Abstract
Miskonsepsi didefinisikan sebagai hasil dari kesalahan seseorang dalam memahami suatu konsep. Miskonsepsi harus segera diatasi karena dapat mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa terhadap materi selanjutnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya miskonsepsi pada siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Palembang kelas XI IPA 1 tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya miskonsepsi siswa pada materi asam dan basa yaitu faktor eksternal dan faktor internal. Faktor eksternal dapat berupa cara guru mengajar, situasi kelas yang kurang kondusif saat pembelajaran, dan sumber belajar yang digunakan. Sedangkan faktor internal dapat berupa kurangnya minat siswa dalam pelajaran kimia, kurang fokusnya siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, cara belajar siswa yang kurang benar, dan kurangnya keberanian siswa untuk bertanya kepada guru.
