Abstract

The early implementation of the independent curriculum provided a number of benefits to the education sector. The independent learning program that has been designed is expected to be able to provide significant changes after the decline in education in Indonesia. The existence of the independent learning program has had a pretty good impact, especially in increasing teacher competence. If professional teachers are formed in their fields, it will be easy to implement 4C competencies to students. This study uses the literature study method which aims to make an analysis of teacher professionalism based on previous research. The results of the study show that there is a good increase with the implementation of independent learning in schools. The training provided to teachers is very helpful in eveloping expertise in designing and choosing the appropriate model for use with students so that there is integration of the 4C competencies.
