ABSTRACT
This research aims to discuss Islamic fundamentalism in the study of the Ansharut monotheistic movement. This research is a library research, with qualitative data and a religious phenomenology approach, the main data sources were obtained from journals and articles discussing Islamic fundamentalism, studies of the Ash'ari monotheism movement. The results of this research explain that Jamaah Ansharut Tauhid (JAT) is an Islamic organization in Indonesia which was founded by Abu Bakar Ba'asyir. This group is known for being involved in extremist and terrorist activities. JAT has strong views towards the Indonesian government and is often seen as a group that supports violence to achieve its goals. They also often engage in radical propaganda and recruit new members to join their groups.
