Abstract

Technological advances have created a new paradigm in communication. Social media is here to create convenience in disseminating information. Social Media also has negative impacts such as the spread of false and unscientific information. One of these unscientific information appears in the form of a zodiac prediction. This trend is spreading among the younger generation, including Muslims. Muslim beliefs that are contrary to these prophecies are not an obstacle to justifying the pseudo-truth. This research aims to reveal the essence of Zodiac Predictions and how a Muslim is affected by them, then what are the implications for a Muslim. The author uses field research methods to obtain objective results, then the data obtained through interview techniques, observations, and tracing the results of previous studies.
