Pamali Mengkonsumsi Kue Serabi Pada Masyarakat Sumatera Selatan ( Studi Terhadap Masyarakat Desa Tanjung Karangan Kecamatan Gumay Talang Kabupaten Lahat)

Pamali is one of the results of local Indonesian wisdom. Pamali is created by the community through their experiences and integrated into a prohibition or taboo. The aim of this research is to determine the views and factors of the people of Tanjung Karangan Village regarding serabi cakes which can only be consumed on certain occasions and who still believe in consuming serabi cakes. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type through interviews with traditional leaders and the people of Tanjung Karangan Village using the theoretical approach of religious phenomenology and literary anthropology. The results of the research, regarding the community's views regarding serabi cakes which are considered as a form of community respect for the ancestors of their village, serabi cakes are also considered as food for spirits and as for the factors that cause people to believe in pamali serabi cakes, the belief of the people of Tanjung Karangan Village is that they still believe in their ancestors and ancestors. Their previous ancestors meant that the community still closely linked the rules of life to traditional rules, apart from that, another factor was the lack of Islamic learning and education in Tanjung Karangan Village.
