Abstract

This study explores the crucial role of information technology in the in the development of modern business, particularly in facing an increasingly competitive market. Informatian Technology has been proven to support business competitiveness and growth, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This research use a literature study method by reviewing various sources from related books and articles. The fundings indicate that the strategic application of information technology provides significant benefits, including increased operastional efficiency, broader market accses throught digita platforms, and the ability to compete with large companies. However, MSMs face chalanges in adopting information technology, such as limited resources and the need for digital acceses. Nonetheles, with the righ strategies and adequate support, MSMEs can archieve significant competitive adventages. This study also highlights the importance of change management in the adoption of information technology, as well as the need for angoing training and support the maximize the benefits of technology. In conclusion, information technology is a key pillar in supporting business sustainability and competitiveness in the current digital era.
