Abstract

This article aims to analyze the dialogue of feminism on social media with the approach of feminism influencer dialogue on social media. Ideas and efforts to create gender equality are related to the rampant patriarchal behavior happening around us. The arguments of feminists are worth studying and analyzing considering that the ideological approach to gender equality that they use has drawn pros and cons in society. In fact, struggles over the meaning and concept of this approach occur among themselves. The research in this article is qualitative based on data analysis focused on discourse campaigns that are described on Youtube content and comments at social media influencers. At first, the researcher presents the arguments of feminists to build harmony with a religious pluralism approach and then analyzes them. In this paper, it is found that the idea of gender equality contains relativism of truth and urges the standardization of religious values. Therefore, efforts to build harmony initiated by feminists often contradict religious values, especially with Islamic teachings, such as the denial of the rules of covering the aurat which is considered a form of women's liberation from patriraki efforts to regulate their bodies.
