Abstract

Personality is one of the psychological aspects possessed by each individual, personality has a strong influence on daily activities where one of them is lecture activities, each student or student has a personality that is certainly different, one form of personality is introverted, namely a personality that tends to be closed and oriented towards itself. In this study, it will be discussed how the influence of personality on lecture activities will be an obstacle or even a driver. This research uses qualitative research methods derived from literature related to the problems discussed, besides that the author also conducts direct interviews with individuals who have introverted personalities at the Raden Fatah State Islamic University of Palembang so that they can explain in detail about the problems discussed. Based on research that has been carried out related to personality, the author concludes that personality is a strong influence in lecture activities but related to the results to be obtained it all depends on the individual himself. Because it does not rule out the possibility that individuals who have an introverted personality can also succeed even beyond the achievements of individuals who have a non-introverted personality.
