Study of Instagram's Efforts to Maintain Hadith Authenticity on Media Social

Abstract

This article examines the efforts made by Instagram in maintaining Hadith authenticity in social media. The study focused on posting Instagram accounts @hadis_dhaif. Research questions are asked regarding the various forms of the method used by Instagram in maintaining the authenticity of hadith. In order to get the data factual and accurate research using virtual ethnographic methods and analyzed descriptive-qualitative. In analyzing efforts to maintain the authenticity of hadith in Instagram, the research uses a discourse analysis approach. There are seven of them highlights on the Instagram account @hadis_dhaif, namely Daif Hadith, Telegram, Fake Hadith, Hadith Rajab, For you Ukhty, Hadith Science and Advice. Of the seven highlights, there are as many as 1,804 posts from 3 January 2018 to 22 May 2023. As the research sample was taken randomly several posts representing seven highlights the. The results of the study concluded that the method used by Instagram @hadis_dhaif in maintaining the authenticity of the hadith is in various ways, namely presents a fragment of tausiyah from a scholar from the Middle East,featuring memes, telegram messages, information sharing and talk shows. As for the models explanation of the status of a hadith is done by the method of hadith criticism and xplain the rules of Ulumul Hadith. The results of the study concluded that the method used by istagram @hadis_dhaif as an effort to maintain the authenticity of the hadith Rasulullah is good enough and maximum. But unfortunately not all people Use Instagram as a reference to find hadith information. Although The number of his followers has reached 9,762 however, that number has yet to reach half of Instagram users in Indonesia. Besides not involving the character ofthe scholars who are famous among the local community, the number of instagrams that have the same vision with Instagram @hadis_dhaif in maintaining the authenticity of hadith very limited.
