Abstract

The changing of curriculum happening from KTSP curriculum to 2013 curriculum and then back again to the KTSP curriculum is carried out by the government raises lots of pros and cons. The purpose of this research was to know the comparison of student learning outcomes between 2013 and KTSP curriculum implementation subjects IPA in MTsN 1 Palembang and SMPN 19 Palembang. Type of this research is quantitative research using the comparative method. Data collection instruments used by the researchers in this study was a document, test, and observations. Data obtained from test results further study using a T-test and test for Paired Samples T-Test with the help of the software SPSS version 16.0 and calculated value of N-Gain. The results of this research it was known that the average value of the posttest experimental class of 75.36 2013 Curriculum and the results of the average value of experimental class of 65.92 KTSP Curriculum. Calculation based on T-test output SPSS version 16.0 obtained significant value of 0.000 (meaning the value of the significant < 0.05), then it can be inferred H0 is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning there was comparison study between the results the implementation of 2013 curriculum and curriculum KTSP. Meanwhile, the results of a test of Paired Samples T-Test with the help of the software SPSS version 16.0 note that the great influence the curriculum of learning outcomes against KTSP 14.9% and 2013 influential Curriculum of 6.1%. N-Gain is obtained between the two classes of the samples in the category are currently with the value N-Gain class experiments 2013 curriculum amounting to 0.60 and experimental class of 0.45 KTSP Curriculum.
